We're looking for a passionate and skilled Cell Biologist with High Throughput Screening experience to join our CDoT Collaborative Screening team. Reporting to an Associate Director, you'll be a key member of our multidisciplinary teams, helping to drive the development and execution of predominantly cell-based high throughput screens. Your work will directly empower target validation, assay development, hit discovery and validation. Ideally, you have experience with a variety of assay formats within a drug discovery or therapeutics context.
Key Responsibilities
● Independently design and execute cell-based assays for drug discovery projects, including both genetic and small molecule screening in various high throughput formats.
● Culture and maintain diverse cell lines and primary cells with a high degree of precision.
● Collaborate, coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic projects and ensure that research plans, timelines, and deliverables are met.
● Analyze, interpret, explain and present experimental data, research plans and results to both internal teams and external collaborators.
● Innovate new cellular assay methods and contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic research environment.
● Supervise, train and mentor junior members of the team.
