Our work focuses on understanding and engineering the interactions between commensal skin bacteria and the immune system.
About the Position:
This is a paid term position where the trainee has secured an external fellowship (either paid directly to the postdoc or as a stipend managed through the Broad). The Broad is their primary institution. This position is hired through recruiting and is limited to a maximum of five years in duration.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates should have:
- PhD in a biological science such as cell biology, immunology, neurobiology, biochemistry, etc., or related field
- 0+ years of solid experience in the development of biochemical and/or cell-based assays
- Strong publication record and excellent communication skills
- Experience working with primary cells and mouse disease models is a plus
- Excellent organization and time management skills are required
- Must be able to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to a highly dynamic environment.
