Description & Requirements

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
Follows established protocols and procedures to prepare and quality test solutions, reagents and labeled plate batches. Communicates results of quality testing effectively. Delivers solutions, reagents and labeled plates to various labs and records transactions accurately. Will be responsible for washing and sterilizing glassware on a regular basis. Expected to receive and distribute complex kits. Will be expected to adjust to new processes and technologies as required. May be required to improve upon current workflow processes with moderate instruction. Other tasks as required so that goals are met.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the preparation and SAP data entry of solutions, reagents and labeled plates.
• Perform quality control testing on prepared batches of solutions, reagents and labeled plates
• Perform calibration of quality control instrumentation
• Prepare aliquots of solutions and reagents as necessary.
• Responsible for the washing and sterilization of glassware on a regular basis.
• Deliver solutions, reagents and labeled plates to various labs and record transactions in SAP.
• Performs inventory counts as needed.
• Responsible for the receipt and distribution of complex kits.
• Rotates chemical stock to ensure consumption of materials before expiration.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma with a minimum of 1 year lab experience. Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science preferred.
• Experience in SAP, JIRA and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Glass wash and solution prep experience preferred.
• Must be able to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be receptive to instruction and able to follow written protocols.
• Good communication skills and an ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Interested in learning new processes.
• Willing to perform a variety of physically intensive tasks.
• Able to lift a minimum of 30lbs.
